Description
The SY8286RAC is a highly integrated synchronous buck regulator designed for efficiency and compactness in modern power management applications. It supports a wide input voltage range (typically around 4 V to 23‑24 V) and can deliver up to 6 A continuous current (with higher peak capacity) thanks to its internal high‑side and low‑side MOSFETs. It features an instant‑PWM architecture for fast transient response, pseudo‑constant frequency operation (around 500 kHz under heavy load) to minimize external component size, and a very low standby current when placed in shutdown mode. The output voltage is adjustable (for example from about 0.6 V upward) and the device includes built‑in protections such as short‑circuit latch‑off, over‑voltage protection, thermal shutdown and output discharge. Housed in a compact QFN package (3 × 3 mm, ~20‑pin) the SY8286RAC is well‑suited for space‑constrained designs such as notebook computers, set‑top boxes, portable electronics and other high‑power, high‑density systems.
