The ISL88739 is a highly integrated battery charging and power management IC tailored for lithium-ion battery-powered systems, such as laptops. It supports both HPB (Hybrid Power Boost) and NVDC (Narrow VDC) operation, enabling flexible power sharing between the adapter and battery during high load conditions.
